Prior to joining Welch & Forbes in 2006, Charlie was Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager/Chief Operating Officer of Private Client Wealth Management unit of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.

Charlie received a Bachelor's degree from Washington College.
