Rich is a 38 year veteran of the investment industry.

Rich joined Welch & Forbes in 1994. He was formerly Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, and Member of the Office of the President at Bessemer Trust Company. Rich is the Chief Investment Officer of Welch & Forbes, is a member of the Executive Committee, and is the Chairman of the Brokerage Committee.

He received a Bachelor's degree from Missouri State University and earned his Master's degree from Kansas University.
